Ocarina of Time Re-Produced in Minecraft

Introducing Hyrulecraft: a to-scale recreation project of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It’s been in development for about 9 months and is currently in the middle of public alpha testing.

The trailer above shows how much work the creators have put into the game. They say they want to make Hyrulecraft ”a unique Minecraft MMO experience including quests, NPCs, dungeons, free-build zones, guilds, and more”.

So the Endermen are peaceful until you look at them. As long as you don’t look directly at them they’re peaceful. But if you look at them they kind of just freak out and start looking at you, and as soon as you look away they will start attacking you.

And they teleport. They pick up blocks as well.

So from the map I make from my home base, I travel to each corner of it and make a little shelter. This is at the north east corner. I unfortunately can’t show the actual map because I just lost everything. This is the first real ‘house’ I’ve made with some actual thought I put into it.

You got your bedroom and living room, then some random fountain thing. There originally a pool of water when I first started building so I left it there. The weird candy cane tower is just in case I get lost.

Hmm, I didn’t know the new laptop also came with a microphone… I thought it was only recording the game… alright then, CamStudio. Do whatever you want.
