While writing this I would usually counter back my own arguments, but would realize I did not feel any different even though I was pretty much wrong.
Why would I feel so bored and unamused by this game if it’s not the developers’ fault?
Thus I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just getting old and unimpressed with things. The whole time when I kept wanting more from the game such as character development and connections between Zelda games, when if I was younger I probably would have just enjoyed the game and not overthink it.
Download a bunch of games onto my hand-me-down DS (hopefully)
Then I don’t know what to play next. I’ll be at SCAD during this time…
Play Minish Cap because apparently it has connections to Skyward Sword? (maybe I can buy it at Planet Fun in Savannah if I don’t get the DS.)
Play Windwaker at some point because it’s not mine and I have to return it
Replay Twilight Princess because I’m also borrowing that
When I get back home I’ll have more resources to use.
Replay Ocarina of Time on the 3DS when I get to steal it and her 3DS from my sister
Play Majora’s Mask on the N64 thanks to Angelique!
Plan sounds dandy and all, thing is though I don’t want to exhaust myself from the Zelda series and get sick of it. And I REALLY don’t want to finish the series so quickly (and especially not all the console games first). Though considering how many games I collected for my 6-month trip back at SCAD, I don’t think I’ll be done in quite a while. o__o
Also, the desire to pop Majora’s Mask into my old N64 is BUILDING but I just can’t do that to myself. .__. If I play it now, I won’t be able to play it for the next 6 months and that is just a HORRIBLE feeling. I definitely felt that with Final Fantasy XII for the last two months. D: I also want to play it until I at least touch OoT 3DS… even though I just finished it this year…
I think I should gather some games from another series… anyone willing to donate? D;
Although at times this manga is… inappropriate, Genshiken is very truthful about the real life of otakus. Plus, even though I really liked the ending (I’m so glad we missed that DRAMA BOMBBB), it really leaves you hanging.
