I went through my old blog when this generation of consoles was first announced.
I actually had to link the word ‘Wii’ back to the Wikipedia page because people didn’t know what it was. LOL, wow! And it was in the entry where I posted the first trailer for Brawl, I was in disbelief of Snake in the next SSB (I hadn’t even played any MGS games back then!), and I wanted a Gamecube. MAN.
There was an entry for when the first Final Fantasy XIII trailer at was released at E3 in May 2006, too. These were my first impressions four years ago: “Although it’s bit too hi-techie for my likes… and the girl somewhat looks like a guy…” If only I knew of the REAL problems that game has.
Crap… I know I’m such a Final Fantasy VII hater, but every time I hear the music from the game, my heart just breaks… so many memories. I’m glad the movie shipped Cloud & Tifa and Aeris & Zack. When, as a CloTi fangirl, I don’t feel threatened by Aeris, I can really just stop and understand how significant of a character and her death was. I don’t think the relationship between Cloud and the flowergirl wasn’t really meant to be something based on romantic love, or that the reason he feels so much remorse and guilt over death was because she was his ‘lover’. I remember when Advent Children was first translated and put online (Oh, how angry people were when Squeenix went back on their word and released the Japanese one first!), and watching her walk out of the church in that final scene and finally being able to see her face after so long…
Shittake mushrooms, I might actually have to go back and finish the stupid game.
Because i cannot access my tumblr @tm...
how do coach boots make people look like a cheapo..?
Well, I try not to go off about it, but… Coach would be the cheapest ‘luxury brand’, so hypothetically that means it was the best you could afford. Also this: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/26/business/26drill.html?_r=3 I know you won’t read it, so here’s the last sentence: Instead, he said, they [High-end consumers/fashion students/insiders] avoid [obvious logos] “in identity-relevant domains to distinguish themselves from mainstream consumers who buy such products to show they’ve made it.”
But of course, IMO. As in, IMO, you look silly, go buy some real boots that don’t make you look like a walking advertisement! And don’t wear them with sweatpants! This, however, all cancels out if they were given as a gift or were on sale or w/e. Then my cheap Asian instincts kick in.
Sooo… I like zombies. As in I’m a fan of watching zombie films and playing zombie video games.
I’ve been watching some recent zombie movies here and there and have been itching to watch another one. My friend pointed out a new series called ‘The Walking Dead’ and after watching the trailer, I was a bit skeptical. TV just didn’t seem like a good medium for this genre, but after becoming a LOST fanatic I was willing to give television the benefit of the doubt.
I watched the first episode today, and well… the following would be the vomit of frustration that came from my narrow minded, action-oriented mindset as I watched it. The first half is from what I remembered, some of the last points I wrote down as I finished up the episode. My opinion shouldn’t really take seriously since I’m just a teenage loser who loves ‘Infected’-type zombies but man was I bored…
